Audi introduced its system of tariffs for charging electric cars e-tron in Europe

With the advent of the electric crossover e-tron quattro in some European markets Audi is presenting its system of tariffs on the charger, allowing vehicle owners to be charged in towns and on motorways.

The Audi system includes several options for different levels, which gives owners access to more than 72,000 charging points operated by 220 suppliers in 16 European markets with a single contract and payment cards.

On long trips the Audi customers can charge their electric cars with powerful charging terminals IONITY and enjoy special conditions. Additional charging points with HPC systems, which are operated by other providers to Supplement the service charge e-tron for longer trips.

To meet the individual needs of payment service pricing from Audi offers two different tariffs.

The “City”tariff is aimed primarily at city dwellers, it is available for a base fee of EUR 4.95 per month. For each process of charging customers then pay 7,95 Euro per charging from AC (up to 22 kW) and 9,95 Euro for charging with direct current (50 kW), regardless of the length of charging and the amount of energy consumed.

For drivers who regularly travel long distances Audi recommends a rate of “Transit”. It costs 17,95 Euro per month, although for new customers of the Audi e-tron quattro is a one-year waiver of the base fee. With a rate of “Transit” customers benefit from ultra-fast charging stations, such as IONITY, with the possibility of more rapid charging power up to 150 kW.

Recall, the Audi e-tron quattro — the first production model that could be recharged with power up to 150 kW, this means that the electrical crossover can be charged in about half an hour. Moreover, most of the electricity in the IONITY network is made from environmentally friendly sources.

For each process of charging clients with the “transit rate” will pay 7,95 Euro for a charging alternating current (up to 22 kW) and 9,95 Euro for charging with direct current (50 kW), regardless of the length of charging and the amount of energy consumed. At the charging stations IONITY capacity of 150 kW initial installed cost of 8.00 Euro per session charge or 0.33 euros per kWh.
