Nissan Energy and OPUS Campers have jointly developed the concept of the smart caravan, which uses batteries of Nissan to ensure offline for a week.
The concept of Nissan x OPUS includes the recently introduced Nissan Energy ROAM — portable, versatile, weatherproof power pack, powered by batteries of electric vehicles from Nissan.
A feature of the development is the use of rechargeable batteries used in electric cars resource. Has a capacity of 700 W⋅h and an output power of 1 kW, lithium-ion cells ROAM derived from Nissan electric vehicles of the first generation.
Mounted in a special compartment in front of the OPUS, the unit Energy Nissan ROAM provides power to the power of 230 and 12 V. This is enough to maintain sufficient energy autonomy in Quimper for about seven days.
The concept allows tourists to stay and enjoy the comforts of home, while having the freedom to travel to remote areas. A unique feature of Nissan’s Energy ROAM is that it can be removed from the campsite and charged from a standard household outlet or plug to the solar panels.
