Volkswagen updates its famous model Multivan T6.1 and releases its all-electric version that will be created in conjunction with German tuning company ABT.
The model will get a slight facelift that will touch the grille of the car and a small internal changes on the dashboard.
The technical characteristics of the e-version of the Multivan Bulli is known that the van will get a motor with a capacity of 82 kW/112 HP, and two variants of batteries with a capacity of 38.8 per kWh or 77.6 per kWh, most of which will provide the van power reserve of 400 km according to the NEDC standard (probably no more than 300 km in real conditions).
In a press release the company has no specific details about the electric version of the commercial van (most of the ad steering control, interior and electronic driver assistance features).
Electric van Volkswagen Multivan 6.1 specification ABT:
- the battery options to 38.8 kWh or 77.6 per kWh;
- a big battery will provide the power reserve of 400 km (NEDC);
- The electric motor power of 82 kW/112 HP
New T6.1 will be “first countries”, beginning in the fall of 2019. It is expected that in the near future, Volkswagen will offer the production version of the Volkswagen I. D. BUZZ BUZZ and CARGO, designed from scratch as electric vehicles on a new modular platform MEB.
